~~~ So Far away ~~~
~ So Far Away ~
V1/ Struggles, restrained, under firm lock and key,
Vaulted words, shackle-bound here, whenever I see;
Blithely portraits of thee, kismet leaves no escape;
From these every, sweet passionate, thoughts that you take.
V2/ To quell one’s own heart with dual conquering hands,
Which repress, lest this velveteen, leap-bounds, to land,
‘Pon thy body, and soul, masked in lover’s disguise,
Must we breathe secret sighs, under different skies?
V3/ Singed, by stoked fires, which reside in thine eyes,
Duly burned, by bronzed brushes, from smooth, silkened thighs;
Honeyed, cherry-stung lips, bait with zeal, appetize,
Sparking amorous embrace, vehemently telling no lies.
V4/ Do not bring me dolour, ‘midst this fervent new day;
Just kiss thee, with feeling, my sweet fiancée;
Abandon your doubt, worthless thoughts, nay, hold back,
For your man, he owns nothing, which you’ll surely lack.
V5/ Let's tear frenzied breaths, of conjoined, swaying frames, and
In bliss, ardently scream out each other’s first names;
Honeymoon in rapture, deigns our new promised land,
That be sealed, as we clasp eager, warm, wedding hands.
