Beautiful Gardener......poem

Updated on January 7, 2015

Watching the beauty of her body as it moves
her dress for gardening soiled at the hem
Visions of last night ...I sigh at the
image of her breasts
and my hands fumbling around them

I listen to her humming a sweet melody and smile
echoing sounds of making love
I relish of what tonight might bring
sighing and smiling
I glance above

It looks like rain as the clouds drop
from the heavens of grey
I stand the hay rake against the barn door
adjust my suspenders and
walk towards the row of carrots
and pray

She turns to me and smiles that smile
that's says come to
me my lover
she takes my hand and moves towards
the screen porch and think
I wil never love another
