The Human Spirit (a poem of inspiration)

Updated on May 2, 2015
The human spirit released...
The human spirit released...
When we worship...we increase the depths of our spirits...
When we worship...we increase the depths of our spirits...
So strong is our spirit we hold within...
So strong is our spirit we hold within...
Every tomorrow awaits us and the opportunity to increase our spiritual strength...
Every tomorrow awaits us and the opportunity to increase our spiritual strength...
The seeds of our spiritual fruits are placed within us at our births...
The seeds of our spiritual fruits are placed within us at our births...
The seeds of our spirits to yield a beautiful truth...
The seeds of our spirits to yield a beautiful truth...

There is one precept to be sustained, in this, our ever present concert,

Held with our strongest and gripping hands, within the human being.

This majestic force, from its powerful source, is a gift of benevolence,

The human spirit, bright and surging, ever emerging, in our believing.

Its essence envied by all beings ...even of the otherworldly, and in its origin,

Never to be captured by any ordinary means...nor of the extraordinary.

The human capacity...placed there by the mind of such a thoughtful creator,

Insures us of a life, ever after...whether products of creation, or evolutionary.

This bright enduring light...as of the Latin, quiddity, a haecceity...in eccentia.

That which is to be...is to be...in its essence, and we all hold from our birth.

All of human kind...to live a life, so divine...our deaths await us, in absentia,

Not to matter, our stature or wealth...every spirit, so represents our worth.

The strongest human spirit may be challenged...yet, always to prevail in its truth,

It is the very reflection, the goodness, we each hold within our breasts, so tightly,

As in our aging years, we visit our memories...remembering those times of youth,

Guided by our inner lights, a surging spiritual release, to lift our days, so brightly.
