~ To Be With You (Mon.29th April 2013) ~

~ To Be With You ~

Whose are those eyes,

That speak of forever,

Flaunting strokeable hair,

And a pout that could tether?

Cherished expressions,

Making wild hearts' seize,

Breath that captures the scent,

From a spring-blossomed breeze?

Who would seek out,and hunt,

Fleeting time,and its' crew,

To manacle,nay shackle,

His curse stored for you?

Who'd bind up the sun,

Fetter driving rain,

So they never could age,your

Sweet body,again?

Who could move heav'n and earth,to

Carry out this duty,

So time,dare'st not steal,

Your precious beauty?

When vowed,only then,

Elements duly released,but

Only,for a little while;

To see you wear sunshine,

As the day begins,so the

Rain cannot fade your smile.

Aw, see, that's how sweet you are; I should be asking how your day was with all that "not much time to yourself thing" you mentioned, but you, you ask about mine. (I thought to ask, but I didn't know if you'd tell me to go pound sand :-)

Good, actually... I had a call today, medical in nature... just saved a little old ladies life, that's all :-)

Tonight, typical fire company meeting stuff, a bunch of men, scratching and spitting and swearing... did I mention I'm not easily offended? :-)

Thanks for asking, that was sweet... you know you could tell me about your day if ever you'd like to... just wanted to make that clear ;-)

      Yours,

      Cat

No problem, I understand, last night I had too many tabs open and my computer crashed on me.

I had to make it sound funny... I don't know how else to say... "I saved a life" without sounding like I'm bragging, but she probably wouldn't have died anyway. She was sweet though :-)

You ought stop waisting time with me, your newest hub is blowing up with comments. :-)

The Fray,"How to save a life"-that song kind of sprang to mind,as it was prophetic for me a few months ago,and was instrumental in me saving a little boy from death....I'll tell you about it sometime....but not right now....tonight is your night!!! You are Wonder woman,no doubt. You must be part of a great team.I've never seen you and Wonder woman in the same room at the same time, so you must be her :)

Wasting time with you?You must be joking.

OH MY GOODNESS! Sorry, I wasn't yelling, just shocked. I see you and Colin (Epi), talking about his wonderfully eclectic taste in music and I wouldn't have even guessed you were aware of The Fray... I had a love affair with them about 2 years ago and went out and bought this delicious CD of theirs so that I could play it over and over until it didn't play anymore. I cried and cried to that CD, there was actually a handful on that CD that I just loved! The aforementioned, You Found Me, Never Say Never, Heartless... I know at least those ones came to mind.

Wow, yes... I would love to hear about your boy saving incident... and forgive me, I comment as I read or I would've addressed this before my little music comment.

Honestly, and I'm not trying to be humble, but I'm not Wonder woman, I just was exposed to firefighting and down the road EMT, at an early age and I thought it was something special, so here I am. You're too funny :-)

No, I wasn't joking (or being needy... :-) ... honestly... I feel like I sometimes take up a lot of your time and you have all these new people wanting a piece of you... just trying to share that's all :-)

      Yours,

You have a good taste in your musical choice-obviously that C.D. meant a lot to you personally.

I'd like to tell you about a great thing that happened, last year. The baby boy in question was in his pram, parked in his front garden, which was situated on a sloping incline. His mother was in the house, and as I was approaching from the street, the pram started rolling backwards,as it had no brakes on,and was well on its way out of the garden, straight towards the oncoming traffic,as there was no gate, and probably would have ended in the childs' death-a few seconds in delay, before,or if I had walked past a few seconds later,it would have been too late for that little innocent boy.I thank God that I was there to make a difference, and your story of saving that old lady's life just took me back to that time.Listening to 'The Fray',shortly before this incident(which incidently, was a played cover version on Youtube,by a female friend from the Netherlands),made a positive impact on me,and consequently, for that little boy,by preparing me,and that song is special to me,because it helped prevent a mother's heart from being broken by losing her greatest treasure.

...And you're not taking up my time...I give it because I want to.I've noticed that you like to make a lot of comments to many people,so I don't expect it to be too serious between us ,because that is just who you are,I suppose-gregarious by nature, but it does make it difficult sometimes,to gauge if you are being serious,or funny.

      Yours,

      R.Q.

Okay Romeo... I think this one is going to require an email...

I was blown away by your beautiful story, yes, yes I was. I can't even imagine that moment for you or that babies mother. I bet it took the rest of the day for your heart to come back down and after it had settled, you probably we're proud and grateful all at the same time for being there when you were and acting upon that emergency that could've turned fatal. I already knew you were a hero and I'm not terribly surprised that you would've done something like that.

Now... watch your inbox, 'cause boy... I think you bumped your head

      Yours

Soooo, almost an hour ago I was going to go to bed because it's been a long day and I'm passing out, but I felt compelled to send you an email to further discuss what we were discussing and I sent it about an hour ago. I guess I assumed that you received it and were perhaps reading it and maybe responding, so I tried occupying myself until I heard back from you. I don't know... if you didn't get it, let me know and I'll try again tomorrow. For now, I'm about to fall out of my chair... I'll check in the a.m. Goodnight chick pea :-)

...Then you had better invest in a good supply of tissues, because this author is sometimes influenced by arrested sanity, but has no plans of going insane any time this century.
