~ Anger Without Enthusiasm ~

Patient form,

Rhetorically entranced,

Assailed by jagged thoughts;

Enhance the wrangle,

Of deathly hush,

With mind,and spirit,in gall.

Strains to quosh,

Infernal past,

Bequeath inhuman cares;

The cry of pain,

Internal claims

That scream of shedding fears.

Corps of doubt,

That come about,

And march with elfin glee;

To wage their war,

Then lose,once more

To fragile sanity.

To Mourn,To Grieve

In my short experience,the limitation and inadequacy of human power is never more clearly revealed,than at this most trying of times,and requires a supernatural comfort,to a supernatural problem.We also grieve for oneself.How that comfort materializes,is beyond our control.

Eventually,we drag our weary soul to the door,look to the sky,see the sun shining,and we manage a partial smile,laced with a plethora of resigned,and confused emotions.

We are defined by this loss.

Today,we are alive,and can review all of the good things we still have.Sons and daughters,granted to us,loving relatives,and a bright,and hopeful future.Life is still O.K. We shall never forget those who've passed,and remain perplexed when we still don't hold all the answers.However,we can remember the living,and look forward ,with an unshakeable faith,to meeting our loved ones in the future. :0)

      Sweet, yet sad, tribute. I would recommend the song "To Where You Are" by Josh Groban if you haven't heard of the song. That was what came to me as I read this hub. Voted it up beautiful!

      Though this is a little outside of your romantic talents... it is equally emotional and passionate. I feel a pain, a real pain in each and every word. The anger, bitterness, confusion, devastation, the wonder, it's all there, it's all real. You've lost someone important... you can't imagine up these feelings. You also give an inspirational moment to this, life comes with pain and loss but there is always a sunny day to follow the rain. It's kind of a matter of appreicating what we have rather than focusing on what we don't. Of course, it's no surprise, I love it!

      Yours Truly,

      Cat

      Thanks doll.I did warn that it would be a little different on the summary;I also had someone else in mind that I thought that it may be able to help,and lend sympathy to,and that is why I have written,and published it on here.

      Truly,

      No warning necessary, it's beautiful and a perfect example of how it is that you are talented in so many areas. You could write about anything... you've proven that time and time again. It's beautiful, sad... real. There are moments in here that probably everyone can relate to.

      Yours,

      Cat

      Worrying will make you crazy which is why I taught myself not to worry about anything. Even in the worse situations where I am facing certain injury or possibly death, a calm comes over me and I know no matter what happens I will be okay.

      "assailed by jagged thoughts"

      You captured that horrible feeling exactly with that phrase. Bravo to you!

      Hi PHILLYDREAMER.I don't worry about anything;it just seems to be a waste of nervous energy.Concern, on the other hand, is a useful channel of this energy, which pays dividends, and achieves real results, by tackling problems with this positive approach.The verse itself, was written about a man I had witnessed going through severe depression, but is sadly no longer alive.

      Thanks for your comment.
