~ " We Still Have The Moon... " ~

VERSE ONE

Shocking pink coif, glittered high-heeled shoes;

Ciggy, varnished manus smoking-up girl blues.

Evian tipple, retro sounds within her ears,

Happy dancing through her mind aloft a heart of bitter tears.

VERSE TWO

Mincing down the boul, strolling like a wingless dove,

Regaling melodies of old, that sing of Yardbirds, ' For your love ';

People turn and stare, but perceive nobody there,

For this angel won't be heard unless their spirit's bright and fair.

CHORUS

Street baby, beat baby

Lend me your smile;

Loan a fleeting glance,

Behoved in Aquitaine style.

VERSE THREE

Etched upon this hand

Meander streams which catch the flow,

From joyous tears in secret hearts,

Which course her life you'll wish to know.

BRIDGE VERSE

It's the one's that understand whom art the folks you never meet,

Who never judge on why a lady walks with elevated feet.

REPEAT CHORUS

VERSE FOUR

Password could be ' love', bespake for living-doll vignette,

That might be searching for a life her troubled soul will not regret,

Inside a memory borne of hope that won't destroy itself with knowing,

So wistful thoughts should not betray that which her heart is never showing...

REPEAT CHORUS ( To Fade.... )

      Now you are a songwriter, which poets truly are as poems are songs, as you already know, dear Romeos.

      A brilliant song, creative and interesting. I wish I could hear you sing it! : )

      I'm singing it Faith but next doors' dog seems to be in pain, the cat is looking at me like I'm dirt and she's Ajax and the less said about the budgie the better :)

      God bless us both dear Faith and a very Happy Resurrection Day to you and your nearest and dearest. Yes indeed!

      Thank you for your wonderful generosity; a peaceful and happy Saturday night/Sunday morning to you all too.

      Romeo, I guess that putting these lines to music will be an individual effort for the person whose "spirit's bright and fair." Really lovely!

      I'm trying to imagine the melody that. Goes with the words. They're powerful words that I imagine might be a slow ballad?

      Hi lawrenceo1;

      Yeah...this vibe is a rock ballad in format but the melody left open for interpretation by the vocal artist so they can have carte blanche using their own particular style of approach.

      Thanks for flying by;

      All the Best;
