~~~ We'll Meet Again ~~~
Updated on September 01, 2013
~ " We'll Meet Again." ~
Unseen words, which burn for you,
I wish them to be torn in two;
One half, be sewn, into my suit,
That eve, I'm laid 'neath Cedar's root.
Rent latter portion, flown to you,
'Pon eagles' wings, aimed swift and true,
To you, some day, its' truth be known,
That 'morn, your page, rejoins my own.
      Oh be still my heart!!! This is what I say, but it does not obey! :-) This is simply adorable!!! Okay... I've read it 3 times now, maybe I should just print it! :-)
      'To you, some day, its' truth be known, That 'morn, your page, rejoins my own." Melting... I'm melting (not like The Wizard of Oz, but more like cotton candy drizzled in honey!) Beautiful, blown away, again Romeo... it kind of reminds me of those little heart-shaped necklaces with a two pieces shared... 'cept this is much more romantic... the truth be known... awww, so cute!
      Yours Truly,
      Cat
      Hi lovedoctor926
      Thank you.
      Have you found a cure yet,for this thing called love,or are we all fated to ride the peaks and troughs of its' ecstatic waves,permeating ordinary lives with beauty,passion,jealousy,depression and obsession?
      Yours Sincerely,
      Romeo's Quill.
      Always a bit cagey about submitting very short poems,but they are just as energy intensive,and difficult to create as epics.Thanks sweetheart.
      Yours,
      I can absolutely understand where you're coming from, but I don't think you could've added another word. Bigger is not always better, and I'm not being fresh... okay, it's quality, not quantity that matters. Sometimes, poems are just too long and you lose momentum. Short and sweet; that's what it is. :-)
      Yours,
      Cat
      Sir Romeo, As far as there being a cure for the madness, I'm afraid there ain't no cure for love like the song says. no aspirin, no ambulance, no voodoo nor prescription drugs can cure a heartache; however, exercise and weightlifting has been proven to vastly improve overall mood, reduce stress while helping you maintain focus on your health, body and mind. This is one way to lessen the pain. Second, keeping yourself occupied whether it's working, writing poetry or playing sports is a great outlet and let's see the love doctor is drawing her magic wand at this very moment.. The cure to love is to keep loving without expecting anything in return because the more you love the more it will come back to you. Depending on your faith and religious beliefs, developing a love affair with God is another way. Prayer can be healing and very therapeutic. Keep a journal and jot down your thoughts. Hope this helps.
      Lovedoctor,
      You're right about the exercise,and weight lifting,which I do on and off,and I recently found out how true your words are in regards to keep on loving;even if rebuffed first time around,it seems to come back to you.Unconditional love(Agape) seems to be the most constant love,and is the most trustworthy.
      Thanks for taking time to reply,for which I'm deeply appreciative-it's always good to get an experienced woman's perspective on such weighty matters.
      Have yourself a lovely evening;
      Yours Sincerely,
      Romeo's Quill
