The Shining Birth...

Updated on May 24, 2012
Star Birth
Star Birth

You were meant to be

the shining birth of a star,

how I waited for you

to get where you are

You came from nowhere

just dirt and some dust

you then were brought to life

the lord made it a must

Only such a great power

it must have took

to make room in the heavens

How they must have shook

The collisions, the energy

for life... you were mixed

this then is how.... you

came to be fixed

In the dark, dark sky

bringing your bright shine

tiny, but shiny that was...

you shining in my mind.

Now you light up the night

for all lovers to see

but you will always be my star

shining brightly for me.

Love you Aways !!!

Michael

What a lovely poem Michael. I like your comparison of a star born in the universe to someone who shines brightly for us in our life.

Michael..This was the first hub i chose to read upon my return home!

It gave me goosebumps, as in the very recent past - while away - i had to give 2 very scary situations up to the universe! I had no control over them, but i can tell you - i wasn't sleeping. One turned out perfectly well, while the other is a...fight in progress. I love her and worry about her daily, tho!

While not religious in any fashion - i do have faith in the universe, and try to see that things we have no control over - turn out as they are meant to!

Kinda like me choosing your poem to read...

      Thank you
