We all need that dose of inspiration in our lives now and then. Our life is our greatest teacher and it teaches us so many lessons each day. However there are times when we need a kick of positivity, and what better friend than a book do we have. Books certainly are our best friend because they tell us what we need to know at the moment.

I have given below a list of 5 of my most favorite inspirational books that are my saviours forever. I would also like the readers to share their favorite books in the comment section. It would be great!

The Magic of Thinking Big by David J. Schwartz

“The mind is what the mind is fed.”

In this book, Dr. Schwartz has designed a program for how can we get the most from our work and personal life and also our social community. He proves that you don't need to be an intellectual or have innate talent to attain great success and satisfaction, but you do need to learn and understand the habit of thinking and behaving in ways that will get you there.

I believe that this book has the power to convince a person enough that your thinking can change your life. Either you think you can or you think you can't, You are right! This book is one of my favourite because the whole lesson and concept of the book is about how we think, What we think and how does this thinking shape our future success and failures.

See You At The Top by Zig Ziglar

"If you can dream it, then you can achieve it.You will get all you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want".

Zig Ziglar is one of the greatest authors. He is a motivator, he has traveled the world. His books are encouraging and inspiring its readers. See You At The Top is his best seller.

This book emphasizes on how empathy can help you get what you want in life. If we help others succeed,we are helping ourselves too. See You at the Top emphasizes the value of a healthy self-image and shows how to build it. Setting personal goals is an essential part of any program for success. This important book tells you how to set-and achieve-those goals and provides step-by-step instructions on how to change the way you think about yourself and your surroundings.

The Secret by Rhonda Byrne

"Decide what you want to be, do, and have, think the thoughts of it, emit the frequency, and your vision will become your life".

This book is a life changer! Though some may not agree or may agree but yes this book has certainly changed lives of many people. Its all about changing the way you think.

This book is about thinking Positive and only positive. It makes us believe that what we actually strive for badly, universe has the power to give that to us. We only need to think about what we want in life. Read it and do share your views about this book in the comments.

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

“And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”

The Alchemist follows the journey of an Andalusian shepherd boy named Santiago. Believing a recurring dream to be prophetic, he decides to travel to a Romani fortune-teller in a nearby town to discover its meaning. The woman interprets the dream as a prophecy telling the boy that there is a treasure in the pyramids in Egypt.

This book is about never loosing hope in life. We all are born to accomplish something in our lives and that we must strive to achieve that and never loose hope. You wont leave this book until you finish it! Worth Reading.

Chicken Soup for the Unsinkable Soul by Heather McNamara, Jack Canfield, and Mark Victor Hansen

“Don't worry about failures, worry about the chances you miss when you don't even try.”

Chicken Soup for the Unsinkable Soul tells about people who have persevered despite the toughest obstacles, including a man who conquered multiple sclerosis through diet and will, the blind mountain climber whose lack of eyesight couldn't stop him from scaling the highest peaks, or the single mother who refused to let the amputation of all four limbs stand in the way of being both a loving mother and a successful career woman. Chicken Soup for the Unsinkable Soul will show even those of us with the seemingly heaviest burdens that no matter what obstacles lay before us, determination and perseverence can guide us toward a happy and fulfilling life.

This book contains short stories that will make you smile and cry. This ones is my personal all time favorite.
