Cindy is an expert at living on a shoestring budge having learned how to be frugal, find deals and earn a little extra cash online.

If you are a freelance writer looking for fast cash or a steady income, you can’t afford to not join these sites. Unlike the revenue sharing sites and content mills where you rely on views or ads, these sites simply publish and pay. There is enough work in these 5 sites alone to keep you writing and earning as long as you want.
These are great starting places if you’re a new writer and you want to earn money while honing your skills.
For the more experienced writers, there’s no better way to start creating your online profile and building a portfolio.
You can join them all and start earning cash today! Take a look:

HireWriters… Clients place orders for specific content they need written and you choose from the available orders. Write blog posts, rewrites and articles from 150 words and up on specified topics. You will be given the keywords and instructions along with the price you’ll be paid. With each article that gets accepted you are given a rating from 1 to 5 stars and you advance in rank from beginner to expert. The higher your rating, the more you get paid.

There are always plenty of articles to choose from and the list is updated constantly throughout the day. The pay averages a few dollars per article and up, but most are short and quick to write so you can reach the $10 minimum balance pretty quickly-sometimes in just a day. They pay every Friday through Paypal.

iWriter choose from a list of available assignments and write articles of 150 words and up on given topics and according to the instructions given. Here again, you will start out as a standard writer and work your way up to premium then elite. The more you write, the higher your status and the more money you make. The minimum payment here is $20 and payments are made weekly, bi-weekly or monthly via Paypal.

ArticleDocument…choose which articles you want to write from a list of available assignments in a number of categories. All articles are 500 words unless otherwise specified. This site pays a few dollars and up for each article depending on your writer rating, although the exact amount is not specified. The minimum payout is $10 and payments are made automatically on the 25th of each month via Paypal. It deserves mentioning that when your article is accepted, it gets published with your byline and photo, so this is a good place to start building a reputation for yourself.

WritersDomain site gives you a keyword and you write an article about it. They stress to their writers that the keyword is not the title or subject. Just write about what you think someone searching that keyword would be looking for. This gives you a little flexibility in your writing. They pay from $15 to $38 per article depending on your rating and payments are made by Paypal on the 5th of every month. You will need to submit a writing sample and take a grammar test when you join.

TopicBay…On this site, you can choose from a list of topics then write any article you want. Clients browse the written articles and buy the ones they need. While it may take a little longer to sell an article, the pay is also somewhat higher-ranging from $6.90 to about $30. You can check out the recently sold articles to get an idea of what’s selling and for how much. It’s a great way to sell articles you may have already written and make some extra cash.

Take some time to browse the writer resources on these sites. Read their blogs. You will find helpful guidelines, tips and tutorials to help improve your writing skills and increase your income potential. If you know of any upfront paying sites not listed here please let me know in the comments section!

This is a very helpful article. I didn't know about several of these. I don't know if many of them are new sites but anyway it seems to be something to explore. I like the description of the one called Hirewriters. Thank you for your contribution.
