A Blood Caution

Updated on November 7, 2010

I am one

devoid of pity

walking, gliding

to my work

you who seek for understanding

blame me for pain

brought by hubris most human

and factors beyond my realm.

I am keeper of consequences

collecting those who've run their course

taking none before their time

removing no one without cause.

You may grieve

scream, cry;

I know and understand

no derision implied,

but in the end all who see me

have two choices

none else can effect:

they are ready to take the journey

or see cause in staying

for a few minutes more;

to finish what they have left.

I humor the latter

from time to time

but this blood right

I do enforce.

If they give cause

not to pass on

they must in earnest seek

to fulfill that cause

or forfeit the agreement

their fraud to repay.

Pray to Father for your pity

mercy is the Son's to grant

seek his servants for forgiveness

I will see you at the end

then all that is and was

shall be your now

no improvement for the damned

not those in hell

but lacking progression

because they refused

to do what they must

to be glad at my coming

and find therein much rest.

Keep these aritlces coming as they've opened many new doors for me.

I have seen way too many stories of people holding on after their number was called. I have come to feel that some people leave not because it was their time but that they didn't have anything to ask to live for or remain for when their number was called. It is an interesting subject to write about though.

Well...I'm almost speechless. I do feel some people do go before their it an accident or an illness...maybe in the end they accept...but in between...there is anguish. Very powerful Hub.
