A Brotherly Advice to Hubbers

Updated on November 25, 2012

To lash out

against injustice

Or forever

Bottle up my emotions?

If this is a new land

We pride ourselves to be in,

digging heels,

building skyscrapers on,

We should stop hitting the ceilings

cursing,

Or stomping the yards,

whining

When somebody begs to differ

or somebody goes hog wild looking for a solace

This is a new age

A new planet

built by moans,whispers

and euphoric shrieks.

We should hold on together

when a plight befalls

and a road becomes blurry

or cul-de-sack

We are humans

We live and thrive in a large pack

different colours

different races

To Adam we belong

To God's sight equals.

No need to squeeze through the keyholes

or hurl a smile from a mask.

Brothers,

Sisters,

we're ever meant to be.

The less traveled

sometimes is

the straight shortened path to the truth.

Converse

Read

Listen

are all what we ever have to do.

We shouldn't rush or judge

If it is running on the empty.

We should slow it down

to the level:

one step at a time,

for there’s no rush

or dash of sin

to get to the peak.

Live and love

God will make us

grow and thrive

as peaceful community

Under His wings.

Very beautiful and thought provoking poem.

Full of words of wisdom. I also believe that it is possible to live in Peace.

Lovely prayer at the end. Thanks.
