A Calming Mood

Updated on January 26, 2017

Further Investigating

Each time I let go

Another thought fills an empty spot

I tune in to the nature of my being

Relaxing and breathing

Listening without questioning

My body at rest

My eyes fluttering

My feet planted on the smooth floor

Only now I feel all the tiny grooves

I feel my clothes as they pinch around my butt cheeks

The sound of the t.v. once a distraction

Now I listen to how each tone in their voices rise and falls

Still my own body

Unsure of it's own functions

Trusting it's internal instincts and it's sophisticated design

As I open my mind

The temperature of the room

A pleasant cool

My fingers typing in response to my next thought

Gypsy Rose Lee I vote for your toes. Didn't you feel that wiggle. Thanks so much for all your support and interest. Have a wonderful day. Please let your thoughts float in all directions. Maybe by river boat or hot air balloon. I will do the same.

My latest thoughts have been coming in through my fingertips. Then it is a race to see which will come in first - my fingertips, the keyboard or my thoughts.

Nellieanna I am amazed how two people can be in the same room and doing the same thing. One person bored out of their mind and begging to leave.Realizing each persons thoughts are complete opposite and no sense in trying to get along. Believing there is nothing worse in life. While the other person enjoying their time together. Sees an amazing opportunity. Where every thought they think are swishing around in front of them as bright as the shiny metal walls. Imagining they are in the biggest pool in the world and wondering what exciting thought is about to happen next. Hoping this time doesn't end. Then when it does waiting till the day we can do it again. Thank you for reading and caring. The rises slowly to gently lift us up from a deep, wonderful sleep.

I enjoyed this peek into your inner thoughts and feelings, Michael. I agree with John that it is like a way of meditating, only perhaps more. You seem to be even more keenly aware of everything going on, like a new awakening. So beneficial and part of having fully met yourself recently.

Have a good and blessed day.

Jodah I try to incorporate as many good habits as possible in my daily routine. Some days rush by faster than it takes to zip up my winter coat. Other days I have the time but I get so excited on an idea everything else gets slightly moved. Then later in the week usually my days off I play catch up. Thank you for reading and sharing. Have a peaceful day.
