A Candescent Ray of Sweetness Cradled my Heart. Monday's Inspiration 4. An Offering to Tamara Yancosky Moore

Quote by Sri Chinmoy

" It is an exceptional privilege,

To have the beauty of a serene mind,

The purity of a loving Heart,

And the divinity of a humble life." - Sri Chinmoy.

I descend the marbled steps of this sacred sanctuary,

Enthralled by the charm and Joy of spring.

Blossoming magnolias unfurl their grandeur,

Offering salutations to the sun.

As I gaze in admiration,

They whisper an invitation: "Come! Come!"

The sweetness of the Heart melts in my core.

Birds chirp and whistle, chanting their merry songs,

As the light of spring,

Streams a translucent beam from heaven.

Not so long ago, I was sitting within

The inner sanctum of the Temple.

A candescent ray of supernal Light cradled my Heart;

Wrapped me in thrills of ecstatic Delight.

Now I stand mesmerised

By the beauty of this magical flower,

And my core is flooded by a stupendous rhapsody of Love.

O Lantern, The Seer speaks of a serene Silence,

In the inner sovereignty of the Soul.

What a joy to experience such stillness,

In this illustrious dance of life.

_Manatita, The Lantern Carrier. Copyrighted, 27th March, 2017.

Birds of Spring

An Aphorism

"The joy of the cosmos, is an unparalleled Peace;

The Light of the Supreme is speechless Bliss." -Manatita

      Ha ha,

It can be a heartache and a learning curve. Embrace it without expectations or attachments. That's wisdom. Also, like me and some others, prepare for late nights sometimes.

I have noted your softness, your non-contentious nature and I applaud you wholeheartedly. God bless your Heart.

I am still new to this site, so sometimes I miss things. I am learning, though! One day, I will be an Experienced Hubber... maybe :-)

      Thank you, Tamara.

So happy that you came! You can put the link on your profile like Nellieanna does or even on your website. I won't mind. If you wish to keep the poem that's also fine, just be careful where you put it.

Your sentiments are heartfelt and well received. Peace.

No, Mantatita, "the power that be" does not want my work discusses, it may "awaken" the living dead although they do not know they are awakening without me.

      Venkatachari Ji,

As always, you're a wonderful and pleasant man and your loving sentiments reflect this. Hari Om Tat Sat Om!

      So charming, my Miz,

Much appreciation ... much! Sorry about the work environment. Hope things improve. Throw Light on it when you can. Humour is good too. Laugh at life; laugh at yourself. Sounds crazy, right? (chuckle). I do.

      Ah Ruby.

So sorry about the rain. Germany was so beautiful! So much Light from the heavens! Such peace from the river and Joy and beauty from the magnolias. The birds were talking to me; I listened with my Heart and felt blessed. Love you!

Greetings folks. Just back from Germany and so will visit some of you guys tomorrow.

what a sweet thing to say. I'm very touched. You may not know, Bro, but I started the Monday inspirations because I found out, coincidentally, that whenever I posted on a Monday, You said that it helped to start your day. Reciprocal blessings to you and loved ones.

I like your take on this and you are nearly right. I think of a Lover exactly as you do, except that I'm a bit like Emily Dickinson, in the sense that I love to capitalize significant words. So when I say 'Lover', I mean the God-lover and at other times, just someone who loves nature or life.

Mind you, true Lovers of nature, tend to move towards the exalting. Ask Bill about the Catskill mountains and read my poem composed today, as I am speaking of an inner experience upon hearing the birds sing on the magnolia tree. A real fact in Heidelberg, Germany. Welcome here and thank you so much!

      Chris, Bro,

Yes, yes, I play on words and weave them quite well. A great many of my poems are filled with this kind of invitations. Thank you so much! Gratitude ...much.

So sweet Dee, or so charming!

In fact, I've already removed one 'sweet.' even though I like it a lot. I tend not to use the same word twice, if I can do something different. Thank you so much, my supportive Friend.

Phrases like "sweetness of the Heart," "ray of sweetness," "serene Silence," fall on the spirit like a perfume spray. It feels so good. Thanks!

'They whisper an invitation: "Come! Come!"' I may have heard that a time or two. Thanks for the serene beginning for another day and week.

An inspiring poem praising the dawning of spring to remind man to open ourselves up to receive the abundance of the growing season ahead.

To your question, "Nature; Are you a lover," I am required, since I walk the middle path, to to answer "other" because the meaning of "lover" suggests exalting, in this case, one season above the others.
