A Change In Seasons Brings On A Change Of Heart

Updated on September 10, 2012

Nurturing Of The Senses

When the beauty outside has changed

The grass not as green

The trees not as colorful and full

Leaves are falling

The air is crisp and shocking

The warm days of summer have come and gone

Even the animals know

Life is changing all around us and even more inside us where we can't see

We are reborn in such a sweet transformation

Where our bodies react and our minds our two steps behind

Busy with the day to day ritual

We almost don't see the beauty in nature unfold right before our eyes

Where the summer playground is now changed once again

To a colder more timid place

Where we quickly walk into the house and out

Not spending time dilly dallying about

The flowers that were so magnificient and filled with breathtaking colors

Are now dull and bare

Almost naked of all their beauty

To what do we owe this honor

A time to think and bless everythng in life

That has its purpose and its place

We can't escape the change

That happens so perfectly and on key

One of lifes greatest mysteries

You sure do stick at it..... We dont need to know the thought process edit that, and leave in the beautiful lines........ Look how far you have come........ well done...
