When She Became A He- a poem

Who Is She Now?

I'm saddend

To know

That a childhood

Female friend

I remember

In her school

Uniform dress

Cares for her femininity

A whole lot less.

To me it is such

A mind bender

Why so many people

Are changing

Their gender.

Why can't they

Be happy

In the image

God made us.

Adam and Eve

An example

He brought

Before us.

Until one day

Eve tasted

The fruit

And she liked

The feeling

It gave her.

She shared it

With Adam

Because her lust

Gave her flavor.

Even though

The first

Man and

Woman lost the

Goodness of

God's Favor,

It allowed us

Freedom Of choice.

Now in the

21st century

People are

Giving it voice.

Perhaps because

It was that

Without brothers

In this girl's household

That she lived in, or

It was due to

From man made

Her give in

To a lifestyle

Dressed in trousers,

Tailored shirts

And a tie.

Doesn't she know that

She is living a lie?

Christine, I don't understand why one would change their sex, either. But then again, I'm not tormented by who I am. I would think they would have so much more to deal with, especially with those who knew them before the change. Wouldn't that make life harder?

..well I admire you very much for speaking your mind and sticking to your own philosophical point of view - and that's what makes you a great writer - you're passionate about what you believe in - and your words have integrity and honesty ......

Thank you Spirit W. for your comment. We all wish the best for those we know and care about, and I am still respectful to the ones I know who wish to change their gender preference. I would not reject them if they care to interact with me.

I just had to express how I felt about my friend's sister who I anticipated to be a very pretty girl grown up to be a very pretty woman someday. I was shocked to see her picture as quite the opposite.

It is not the body that is of such importance but the mind. Gender change or any cosmetic change simply reflects man's infatuation with this physical world. Some people are so attached to their bodies and this illusory world that they even cling to the gender they had in previous lives. But that is their choice and nothing to do with ours to see the world for what it is. Live and let live I say and judge not lest you too be judged. Thank you.

But if she truly is unhappy, better she change than commiting suicide because she is so not happy.
