A Christmas Poem ( Haiku)

Anticipation...

Christmas time is near,

A time of great joy and cheer.

Families so dear.

We wish they all could be here.

Loved ones, we revere,

As each fond one to appear.

On this Noel, so clear,

We all hug and kiss each ear.

Santa Claus will come,

As each child, a song to hum.

The tree, lit so bright,

Shines and sparkles in the night.

The Christ child's dear birth,

Celebrates this time of mirth.

All around this earth,

A season of greatest worth.
