F.C.'s Farewell

'A Daughter's Lament'

Sahau, Sahau, Sahau ni dawa ya waja.

Sahau, Sahau, Sahau ni dawa ya waja!

No, I won't forget you.

No Daddy I will not forget you.

Making sense of life will be my goal as I

travel this road you took to paradise.

Nadhari, Nadhari, Nadhari njia ya peponi.

Nadhari, Nadhari, Nadhari njia ya peponi.

Bila, Silaha, Bila Silaha usingi vitani.

Bila, Silaha, Bila Silaha usingi vitani.

I've cried, but now I won't.

Every tear I've shed is quelled.

I raise my shield in peace ever high.

I've cried, but now I can't.

For I know in my heart that life goes on.

Akili, Akili, Akili, Akili ni mali.

Akili, Akili, Akili, Akili ni mali.

Daddy, enrich my life.

Please watch over me each day.

Oh, Daddy, be by my side and with

intelligence gleaned help me lead the way.

Sahau, Sahau, Sahau, ni dawa ya waja!

R.I.P. Daddy. I love you. I will honor you.

I truly will never forget you.

Haraka, Haraka, Haina Baraka!

Haraka, Haraka, Haina Baraka!

Let the celebration go on!

Frazier C. Spann ~ F.C.

His heart was one of gold, and he was tall like the Amazon Gods. He is an Angel I see when I close my eyes. I love you Daddy!

The sorrow remains but my heart goes on. A daughter's first love is forever her Daddy, and I am grateful I had the time with him I did! I thank you for your kind words. Peace!

@jenubouka, hi wonderful friend! Thank you for warmly welcoming me back and for the caring comment you left. I so appreciate that you read this poem I wrote for my Daddy. I'm slowly getting back into writing. I will be stopping by your page to read and glean more on the cooking tip. Take care! :)

      Well howdy stranger!!!

I was hoping to see you writing sometime soon and knew you would.

What a wonderful and heart felt piece to commend a soldier. I see you still have the beautiful touch of composing. Awesome as always.
