A Day Comes And A Day Goes

Updated on March 27, 2014

Just An Ordinary Day Nothing Special

It is still a day to remember

Let me start off by saying what a day

The sun was shining even though I never got outside

I had a tall list of chores to do inside

The things that you can't escape

Laundry, cleaning up the house, cooking, calling an old friend and recharging my cell phone because it went dead, tackling a few projects that I have been putting off, etc.

The list goes on and on

Overall nothing that jumps right out at you

Catches you by surprise or even makes you laugh uncontrollably

Then there are things I love to do that I squeezed in

Catching up on some lost sleep

Being busy we tend to run a little ragged to get one more thing done

Write some comments to the writers who are here on the HubPages

For all their hard work and amazing hubs that keep me wanting more

Playing with my cat who now went down for a nap

Making plans for tomorrow so I can stay organized and focused

Best of all finding time to write to clear my mind and create some new thoughts

Life is a series of days strung together like clothes on a clothes line

You got to wash all your dirty laundry

Now you are swinging in the breeze

Sometime soon you will be dry

Be folded neatly and put away

Then you begin the whole process all over again

I am just happy to be alive

To experience all that I can

While I am still willing and able

Thanking God for my ultimate gift

May you have a day that tops mine all the time

kj force I have to keep slugging , grinding, chopping until I get the best results possible. The things that mean the most to me are people that care and continue to help others every day of their life. Everything else comes second. Thank you for your e-mails and your comments. Both have helped me continue on my journey. Have a wonderful day.

You know I don't mind having an ordinary day over and over just as long as God is by my side and life is full of contentment.

Dream On, I love your down to earth hubs. No frills and whistles just honest real life writing of your day to day life. It's like reading a diary or journal. Well done.

Phoebe Pike We all live and breathe . How we spend our days and nights is as unpredictable as the weather. So let's make the best of it and have fun whatever direction we shall go.

Phoebe Pike I want to thank you for finding the time to read and leave such a nice comment. I never know where my writings will go. They come from inside of me and are just jumping out only when they are ready.
