A Deeper Joy

Updated on August 28, 2016

All Seen And Unseen

Cloudy weather

Bursts of rain entertain

Four hours pushed way back in my mind

Refreshed from a peaceful sleep

I am floating

Somewhere else lighter than air

Filling my body with food

As a car pumps gallons of gas

Not stopping until full

I leave this moment with a new found physical strength

My thoughts stream by

Faster than Comcasts Xfinity

Closing my eyes

Where any wrong can be forgotten

A place untouched by human hands

In and out of consciousness

Sipping from a cold glass

Milk that trickles down

To comfort me

Leaving for a place

To put more time in

Providing for

The ultimate trade

A give and take

The ongoing charade

Gypsy Rose Lee Home Sweet Home. I work hard for a little more time to spend at home. Either a couple of hours in the morning or a whole day off. Just to enjoy a beautiful place of peace and comfort. Away from the hussle and all the obligations and responsibilities. Thank you for reading and sharing.

Made me think of all of the comforts of home. Haven't been anywhere except in my garden for a few days and I feel so good just being home.

Vocal coach There are incredible moments that connect to our lives easier than are feet touching the floor. I try to recapture them in words to embrace the passion as many ways as I possibly can. To hear that you read my poem three times and enjoyed it makes me very happy. Thank you so much. Happy Sunday.

I liked this enough to read it three times! Beautifully done. It's the little things in life that we sometimes forget to linger in and appreciate.

Thank you for this lovely message.
