A Different World

Updated on March 19, 2014

What Would You Do If ...

Every day our bodies had only an hour of power then we had to sleep for the next hour

Like a battery we had a red light to give us warning

Soon we are going to be out of power

Better find a nice comfortable spot

Because soon your going to be a sleep

Would we accomplish a lot more ?

Knowing we have only twelve hours in every day

We would have to sleep for twelve hours only four hours more than eight

Which is the average amount of sleep we are suppose to get anyway

I know I would plan my day better

Making sure I ate and drove where I had to be

What if we had children we would have to make sure they we in good hands before we went down for the count

We would have to plan our day around when they are awake

Then organized to make sure I accomplished as much as I could

It would change the way we do everything

Our life would revolve around the need to sleep

Not lack of

Each day I can't be the only person who cuts back on sleep

To get more things done

Shouldn't sleep be top priority

Important as food and not be tampered with at any cost

Now I take more cat naps when I feel tired and beat

Thinking how lucky I am

To have the opportunity to get more things done before I go down for my hour sleep

Gypsy Rose Lee I am always open to inspiration whenever it comes. Most of the time I do my best work at night into the wee hours of the morning.Look forward to naps. They give you comfort and your body refuels and is ready for anything. Thank you for reading and sharing.

Jodah Time would be really important and so would each and every thought. Maybe we would watch less t.v. or none at all. Would that be such a bad thing. Would we spend more time with each other and in meaningful relationships. Less time in court and doing wrong things. You know if you robbed a bank good chances when you awake somebody will find you. Off to prison you go.Less people in jail less people getting a divorced. Great possibilities and lots more team work depending on each other for help. Thank you for reading my little sci-fi thriller in the works.

Food for thought Dream would be impossible to watch a move without going to sleep half way through.
