A Divine Conspiracy

Updated on December 23, 2011

Life Is or is It Not?

A Divine Conspiracy

You were my one an only
You Touched my soul; from my head
To my toes; oh my soul

But now you are gone forever
You asked; an I let you go
Oh my soul you were the best

That I have ever had
What; was I mad?
I must have been, insane

The pain which now resides
Within my brain Torrential rains
Only memories remain

Nothing is!
Quite the same

I'll wait for you
I will wait on you

And then if you
Still don't want me
I'll let you go; of course

Back and forth; once again
Why pretend?
This is not the end

This old life; anew
It does not always win
For It must end

This life; It is
Not always beautiful
But It is; most defiant

And It; most of
It, most; definitively
Is; a Divine Conspiracy

Most unusual and succinct poetry -- congratulations on such a well written piece -- one can definitely feel your distress and pain and relate to every word you wrote. Best, Sis
