A Floating Bit of Fluff

Updated on February 28, 2011

the wise seeing

the adventurer wary

the fool drawing conclusions

thinking the seen portends much

but it changes and everything changes

the fool cannot see why

decries his skill and relies on disclaimers

i asked it to move

that was why

there were good reasons

it complied

no trumpets

not fanfare

no way to measure

who cares if it was fair

it was the cloud's choice

it didn't have to move

i thanked it kindly

nothing to prove

yet in this something to pass on

a bit of nothingness to be sett aside

but perhaps a thought

gold nugget to pass along

In one moment much was done

destroying reality for all

for they expect it where it was

for the forces that move it

intangible

portending the next portend

but in strings of portends

no beginning, no end

laughing at mortals looking up

because they don't see

they perceive

and in perception are deceived.

JFrost Liked these lines a lot :

      "laughing at mortals looking up

      because they don't see

      they perceive

      and in perception are deceived."
