With thanks to Just Ask Susan whose hub http://just-ask-susan.hubpages.com/hub/Happy-Valentines-Day-a-Rictameter-Poem inspired me to try a haiku.

Of Japanese origin, Haiku is a three line verse 5-7-5, usually about things pertaining to human nature, nature or human actions.

Joining hub pages has stimulated and encouraged me to re-visit different styles and types of writing and the comments I have received back from other hubbers have blessed me more than words can say.

Thanks both of you. The statement at the top says the hub may not be approved - hopefully it will stay up and yes, I'm looking forward to doing more Haiku's!

What a wonderful Haiku! Have to warn you though, they are very addictive. Hope to see more of them from you. So glad that I inspired you to write this.
