A Hint of a Promise

Updated on March 4, 2013

There's a hint of the promise

of Spring in the air....

The blue sky is crystal,

the temperature fair.

The birds, all awaiting

the fresh breath of Spring,

perch upon bare branch

and joyfully sing.

Trees that are thread-bare

will soon bud with leaf

and Winter will exit

to all Nature's relief.

Yes, a hint of a promise

of Spring's in the air

with Hope for new life and

Her glorious flair.

Wayne Barrett, Thank you for your read and great comment! I am thinking maybe Spring has already shown her sweet face there in Florida, where she is playing hide and seek here in Maryland, yet! Regardless, her arrival is not far off, thank goodness!

Bumpsysmum, Thank you, kindly! I am currently in Maryland with my oldest son and it is pretty cold here, yet, but every now and then I get a glimpse of a hint of spring in the air! I am ready, for sure! I appreciate your visit and awesome comment!
