A Lesson from Nature

Updated on June 21, 2014

A Lesson from Nature

In the vast beauty of the mountains,
One tree stands tall,
In an ocean of green,
Standing different from them all.

Unique and graceful,
Blowing in the wind,
Not caring if it's judged,
Not needing to pretend.

Proud to be different,
Standing mighty and strong,
A picture of confidence,
No yearning to belong.

It's a vision of beauty,
Strength, honor, and trust,
An inspiration from nature,
This lesson... a must.

Trees have an amazing beauty all of their own, and your poem expresses this very well. Thanks for sharing :-)

We often feel that we must live up to other's expectations or concern ourselves with "fitting in", but in reality, we were all intended to be differenent and to EMBRACE it!! We are all God's creation. We are all specially and wonderfully made. We must learn to embrace this lesson Wisdom teaches us through God's nature.

My favorite part is the tree not caring if it is judged. God made the tree and no one is worthy to criticize it. Only God is worthy to be our judge as He created us. There is so much to learn from the nature God has created!
