A Little Kindness... A Reflection of Who We Are ( a poem of inspiration)

Updated on May 26, 2015
Reflection of the Human Spirit...
Reflection of the Human Spirit...
Kindness...our finest grace...
Kindness...our finest grace...
Every man's child deserves kindness...
Every man's child deserves kindness...
We may plant the seeds of kindness by one single act...
We may plant the seeds of kindness by one single act...
One act of kindness may be the seed that grows an entire field of beauty...
One act of kindness may be the seed that grows an entire field of beauty...
Every new tomorrow is a chance for each to perform an act of kindness...
Every new tomorrow is a chance for each to perform an act of kindness...
Our lives are made brighter in acts of kindness...
Our lives are made brighter in acts of kindness...

We may all see the likeness...

That of the human spirit's own,

Reflections, seen in kindness,

Those we may perform alone.

Our daily lives, but a chance to shine,

So that the world may see,

Helping those in need, our caring,

The best that we all may be.

Every tomorrow, a new chance to come,

To give someone but a helping hand,

Showing our love and appreciation,

And that we each do understand.

Brothers and sisters, from birth to our rest,

Always to do our very best,

That we may be in need one day,

And for us to be just so blessed.

Our creator made just one of us,

Yet, there's always more we may do,

A single deed, may just plant a seed,

Helping to start one life, anew.

Though our days may be so numbered,

We should count only one,

That day we live in the now,

Ours not to worry, before it's begun.

Every man's children, but a likeness of our own,

And a responsibility, each, in kind,

Giving of ourselves in each way, that we can,

Is a part of the celestial design.

Mirroring the human spirit's finest grace,

By the grateful, and their smiling face,

Kindness, though may be just a word,

But as a joy, a gift, that we all embrace.

Excellent! It is so easy to be kind, and that can be so infectious, too. If one person did a kindness for a stranger, everyone would be happy.

Beautiful words. It's true that we should live in the here and now and do every possible kindness as we go about our daily lives.

Your words make us feel good!

A beautiful poem talking of our lives. One of each of us, with one life to live, living in just on day. Yesterday is past and tomorrow is not here, today is the present day to worry about - and why worry? I voted up, shared and pinned it.

Whonu, there are so many messages in this poem. Kindness takes just one person. Live one day at a time. One act of kindness can affect more than one. And many more. This is just beautiful!
