A Little Strychnine in Your wine

Updated on December 9, 2010

A little strychnine in your wine my love

A little strychnine in your wine

I wondered why wives used to live a long time

A little strychnine in your wine

A piece of pie for my favorite guy

A tad rat poison inside

You poisoned my mind for such a long time

Some tasty pie for my guy

A hunting trip for the best husband there is

Let's go and hunt for some deer

You forgot the orange vest

Oops a shot to the chest

A hunting trip for my guy

A little strychnine in your wine my love

A little strychnine in your wine

I wondered why wives used to live a long time

A little strychnine in your wine

For my caribbean sister with her rude boy at home

I learned the remedy for him

Two spoon fulls of potassium in his soup or tea

Don't tell anyone you got it from me

A little strychnine in your wine my love

A little strychnine in your wine

I wondered why wives used to live a long time

A little strychnine in your wine

My beautiful wives devising a plan

to get rid of that mean spirited man

Remember to kill him off in your head

Because you may miss him once he is dead

A glass of wine and a nerve pill my love

That's what I'll do instead

That's how wives used to live such a long time

To be drunk and high out their minds

Woah that's dark - but humorous. The style/structure reminded be of a satirical poem from the 16th or 17th century... Cool
