A Missionary’s Wife (Poem)

Updated on February 23, 2016

A Missionary's Wife

“I do.”--- I will be with you

Through the darkness, under the light of the day

Together we shall follow what our Master say

Beyond what we can give

Wherever He puts our home for us to live

We will do it all because of what He did

“I do.”--- I promise you

I promise as your given wife

I pray that we will both truly honor our God with our lives

Great works to be done

With His strength and grace, we shall be as one

His love binds us, grace covers us

To the region beyond, in the place we stand

To the near and far away land

“I do.”--- I love you

I love you because you love Him more

And together, only His name, we shall adore

Our family will be His, we offer it upon His throne

For God alone is who we’re living for

“I do.”--- ‘til the very end

Your lover, helper and friend

Wherever God sends us

I’ll be with you ‘till the end

Soli Deo Gloria

Well done. We all are on a "mission" - those two become one; in our prayer, we are telling to our Father, " Your will be done..."

" For God alone is who we’re living for" Amen.

      Blessing and peace.
