A Moustache and Roses

“Do you like it, hon?” *wink*, moustache smile

“Ooh SEXY!” her eyes fixed on the style;

He carried her and lay

Rollin’ roses, kiss and play

His moustache stuck on her a long while.

The Best Beards and Moustaches in the World

The Styles You Can Easily Follow

Moustaches "Mustaches" in Men - What do they stand for?

Being a man does not have to have a moustache, in fact there are those who are not but grace it. Wonderful, isn’t it? Some men may grow moustaches; it is a manly thing for them. When some women like hairy men, moustaches will likely attract them too, but it is a turn off to women to find crumbs sticking on a moustache. Don’t they just look like pollens?

Moustaches and beards denote strength like the woodsman who can swing his axe. If a man wants to look mean with matching tricky eyes, then he will copy Captain Hook’s moustache as pointy as his sword. I guess, women still fall for this, but please dear, be careful.

Moustaches bring about being a man, yes I repeat, being a man. I heard a man over here say, “Not really”. Oh, so you have your own idea of being a man. That is good and keep it up! Facial hair makes them a man, well at least looking more mature. You do not want to be that "boy" all your life, do you?

Moustaches are associated with power; a powerful man with a moustache! Look closely at Genghis Khan. Men can be identifiable just by their moustaches too with the likes of Charlie Chaplin, Albert Einstein, Groucho Marx, Mark Twain, Adolf Hitler, and more. Men with high degree like Plato and Aristotle (the great philosophers), Confucius, Charles Darwin and Michel de Nostredame (Nostradamus did not just publish prophecies but he was a French apothecary); these famous men did not just limit moustaches as facial hair but grew beards as well.

Be looking like a knight or a hero, let grow a moustache or beard or both. When my boyfriend started sporting a neat beard and moustache, he just looks like one of those medieval knights and he knows how I adore it on him because I tell him so that he is "my knight", looking like one of them. The simple sexy and flirty look falls with the likes of Clark Gable, Tom Selleck, Burt Reynolds, George Clooney and Brad Pitt to name a few. Kenny Rogers is sexy with his beard and moustache.

I agree that a mustache makes a man look... well...if I may say... hot! and manly!

      Thanks for this nice read.

      Have a rocking day ahead.

      On you, it looks good!

And on behalf of mustache men everywhere, I thank you for the kind words about us. I ran across a video of my self sans mustache and it seems there are several inches between my upper lip and my nose. Maybe an optical illusion/delusion.

Good limerick and hub. I grew my mustache because I kept cutting myself there when I shaved.

No handle bar mustaches just a simple plain mustache if you please. My hubby has had a mustache and I couldn't imagine him without one. It just fits right on his face, looks right and is part of his shall we say personality. Passing this on.

So funny and thank you, Gypsy Rose Lee!

A simple plain mustache is always fine, I agree.

The likes of xstatic's mustache, you see.

My partner has a neat one and swell

And too, I adore his baby-face, to him I tell

Though beard and mustache can grow fast

I still like him to look like a knight and it to last.

You look great in your neat silver mustache, xstatic and I know I am not the only one who admires it so.

I love the clean look too very much; and I like the neat trimmed beard and mustache too. Until when I'm tired of it on him, I'll have him shave it, lol.

Have a good day, Michelle. Our dogs already have beards too, hahaha.

I love a beard and or tash on a man, as long as the hygiene is not ignored :). My husband shaved his off once and I was so disappointed, although he did look much younger, but eventually he grew it back. Nice work.

How funny! And you are so right - a mustache changes the entire look and assumptions of the person. Strength, manliness - and a tendency to rescue damsels tied to railroad tracks!!!! LOL

My husband grew a moustache when we were first married. I didn't mind it then, but now I prefer he not wear one. Good post and very entertaining.

I like the 'wicked magician' exaggerated and perfectly twirled handlebar moustaches, but kissing a man with whiskers is an entirely different matter - "ooh! that tickles!" Love the article and poem :)

Very funny Marites, this gave me a smile today. I only shaved my beard and moustache off three weeks ago. Still missing it.
