A Poem For 8.22.2015
So today is Eight Twenty-Two, Two Thousand and Fifteen.
That makes it only Sixty-Nine days until Halloween.
I mention a well-known holiday because August hasn't any.
I think I'll make one up although you may think I'm a ninny.
Since Claude Debussy was born this day in Eighteen Sixty-Two
I say we honor him today with a great big hullabaloo!
We can play "Clair de Lune" as loud as we possibly caun
And then listen to "Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun"!
So I hereby officially decree today to be "Debussy Day".
And on that note, I note that I have nothing more to say.
