A Poem: He Who Thinks He Can

Updated on August 27, 2014

A Quick Summary

This poem was inspired by the great 19th century poet Walter D.Wintle. His famous poem called The man who thinks he can is a masterpiece of art that I absolutely adore. I can only hope my version of this beautiful and inspirational poem can empower others the way his original work has inspired me.

It is often very hard to overcome life's challenges which may stand in the way of our goals and dreams but we must remember we hold the key to all possibilities when we believe in ourselves. Nothing is impossible, the sky is truly the limit. Don't be afraid to fail, it's is the only way to eventually win. Now with that said, please check out my version of Walter D. Wintle's poem, also feel free to leave your comments below. As always, I look forward to hearing from you.

He Who Thinks He Can

Bless is he who thinks he can

For the will to dream must lie within

A single thought or gut reaction

He that seeks will eventually find

what it is his heart desires

One must fail in order to win

But ahead of the rest is he who

thinks he can

In life, it’s not about where you start

but rather how you finish

Prepare for the battle

to never give up nor give in

Because empowerment lies in you

God’s great gift to man

has always been the believer

who thinks he can
