A Poem, Of Paradise
Imagine you here with me, In Paradise
Walking through the vast dessert of this infinite wonder of life, I stop and look behind me, and see the mountains I have had to climb to be able to make it here, to this moment, to this precise spot of where I am standing. Never look back they say, they, the voices of strangers, strangers that have never walked a step in my darling shoes. Looking ahead at the beautiful valleys, where the sun and clouds meet, that spot, where your laughter becomes tears, and your tears become an infinite peace, where your breath becomes frozen in time, where your soul comes closer to home, only to be reminded by the sound of your beating heart, that the adventure must continue. I hold your hands tight, keep you close to me, feel as our hearts beat as one. I guide you through the dessert, as you are too busy focusing on the beauty of sand castles you build in your head, you forget the steaming sun, caressing your pale skin, kissing your forehead, reminding you, that you are alive, and that to find beauty, you sometimes must go out of your way, stop what you are doing and stand in front of it. Awake, stay in your dreams, live them, breathe them, make them your ground, look ahead, and always take a peek to what you have left behind. Swing high, my darling, swing higher, become that star in my sky, don’t let go, I got you tight, in this stormy night, close your eyes, and Imagine being here, in Paradise.
