A Poem Simpatico

Updated on October 21, 2011

SIMPATICO

In two's we speak

You first, then me

In unison at times

Stumbling over your ends

Stepping on my beginnings

Simpatico

Melodic harmonies of

Mine and yours

Words and laughter

Our rhythm in sync

Simpatico

Staccato tongues

Child-like, but not child-ish

New love

Perfect parity

Tangled tongues

And thoughts

Heart's beating as one

Simpatico
