A Poem called Midnight Blue

Updated on August 10, 2015

The time is midnight blue

And thoughts of you seem to feel

Their way into my Heart

Closing my mind to the

Distance between us

The feeling is summertime

Warm and carefree

You're lazy in the heat and content

In your Heart

As gentle evening drifts into dusk

The scent of honeysuckle

Fills the air

Laughter blends with birdsong

And Love blends with time

To create a slow moving river

Of emotion

As my thoughts turn to you

At midnight blue
