A Poem in Haiku Verses

Updated on December 21, 2015

music and rhythm

what am i feeding myself

it’s called sanity

playing and singing

risking being who i am

expressing myself

singing a love song

or even playing dem blues

touches me deeply

from deep within me

something that i can’t avoid

it’s my heritage

friends and family

what would i do without them

life would be empty

resist temptation

and what does this do for me

it makes me stronger

keeping promises

develops my character

my integrity

helping people grow

and just how does this serve me

it’s what i do best

happiness secret

is living in the moment

it’s what i strive for

japanese poem

sharing my haiku with you

vulnerability

letting instinct write

a set of haiku verses

where did that come from
