A Question of Fidelity

Updated on January 18, 2011

How long do I love thee

let me check my schedule

my chart

the stars if I dare

what will I do to show my side

wait, I am doing my hair

swinging my golf clubs

driving my car

a date I can do

a night? yes please

but more then that you can't expect

I am a contender

the mirror cant show change

I haven't slowed down

I still am powerful see?

I can't be shackled to you

to kids and a house?

it worked for my parents

poor as church mice

were they happy?

why yes, yes they were.

but they didn't know this life

the one I live right now.

perhaps if they did

they wouldn't be so content

I am good enough on my own

I go clubbing when I want

you say I say "I" too much?

perhaps, but who are you?

Maven, sometimes they server themselves, sometimes they don't even know. I would sat that those who don't know get run over in life. It doesn't do one any favors to forget one's source of survival and claim self sufficiency. The longer I live the more I see that I have never failed but rather I have found all of the ways of not doing one thing and met a lot of interesting people along the way such as yourself.

And what about those " others "..? Whom do they serve..? Or do they just wait to be served by the likes of you.?

lol happiness isn't found alone dear Malin, Hillrider was right in my intent. It isn't fair to leave others in the dark if you can change matters. Loving and serving others is the only way to exist that is substantive.

Only live your life, in what works for you. Don't involve others, not fair to you or to them. Well say, Jaggedfrost.

Obviously written, tongue in cheek, this is humorous. From the girls who "gotta wash my hair" as an excuse to men and golf, we need to pay more attention if we really want to find what works in the end. There is a reason it worked for our parents, they loved each other and us...

lol hmm do you mean mocking others for their shallowness or at least describing the symptoms?
