A Saving Grace ( a poem of inspiration)
Much to happen, and with no doubts,
In a whisper, or the loudest of shouts.
The worst of man does plot, to so plan,
An evil brought by a most twisted hand.
The good steps in, then to play its role,
For nothing so bad, does it cajole.
To drive away the wrongs so wrought,
Does make things right, that is sought.
Comes a saving spirit, is that of grace,
The best of man, it does so embrace.
Sent by God, the benevolent, divine,
A love from the heart, it does define.
Without great trust, all evil so reigns,
That of the faithful, to release its chains.
But for the good, has no defense, or a care,
Inner strength, so found, as in a prayer.
By most gentle hands, a power is spun,
As that of fine cloth, its weaving is done.
As so, by working hands, a fortress made,
Against the foes, terrible forces, staid.
A most amazing grace, all are endowed,
As we stand in unison, to shout this, loud!
Forever our gift, found within every soul,
Brighter than diamonds. greater than gold.
