A Seven Day Forecast

Updated on August 16, 2016

What A Great Way

To begin each day with a smile

Ending each twenty four hour period with contentment

Praying in the afternoon just before lunch

Seeing life through a rare view

Looking for ways to laugh

Working at enjoying life

Every day is going to be a better day

There are so many shocking and painful stories

Education takes time

Reform is neccessary

We have to make a difference

To see into problems

Finding everything else white noise

Avoiding the hoopla

Trying to think outside the box

Staying relaxed and open minded

For Americas best

Reading and learning about many things

Developing a cutting edge

So different than the fantasy world of t.v. and movies

As the thirty first Olympics takes place

Watching the last day of the Olympics in Rio

Feeling a good influence of what it means to be the best in the world

Athletes who have trained so hard to compete

They have to prep and be prepared for anything

I witness athletes set new world records

So many people in the world

Don't rise above the rest

They just do what they have to

They fall into a trap

Thinking and believing every day is the same

It's such a shame

Gypsy Rose Lee Watching athletes from all over the world compete on good terms. There can be only one winner. What I have and will always admire are all those people who try and practice so hard for this one day. If we could only carry the same spirit and dedication to all phases of our life. Thank you for reading and commenting on so many of my hubs. I am very happy and grateful.

I have come to think that each day will either be quiet and peaceful if I stay at home or a grand adventure if I go out. I was so pleased that the Olympics went so well and with no violence. I gave me hope.
