A Simple Appreciation for the Beauty of Life

Updated on November 24, 2015

A small flower bud slowly waking up
Greeting the light rays of sun from the sky
Smiling at the clouds above
While dancing on the wind that passes by

A light breeze of morning air
Splashing through the moist leaves of trees
Rocking the waterfall nearby
And plays with the buzzing bees

A colorful rainbow emerged
From the sprinkle of water and sun
Small ants came marching by
Finding their food while they still can

God smiled from above
What a wonderful world to behold
What a beautiful life to cherish
A truly rare treasure untold

The gifts of nature are among God's greatest gifts. I think it pleases Him when we show our admiration and appreciation of these celebrations of life. This is beautiful poetry. :-)

This is such a sweet poem, Spy. The beauty of nature is all around us. I get great pleasure from enjoying the wildlife, the colors, and scents that Mother Nature blesses us with.

There is beauty in the simplest of things, but as far as mankind's integrity, we are lacking.
