A Simple Curiosity

Updated on May 10, 2012

How to understand

being undestood

read and read

in context different

spelling the same

reaching to the heart

leaving a piece of myself

something to be charished

something to be loved

people to love in return

attached too much to the moment

to see

maybe only some hearts can connect

perhaps these words that set my tongue free

handicap me all the same

seeking to respond to responces

knowing that this thing

so free from my digits

is confined in elegance

restricted to this form

that reveals as much as conceals

leaving this Poet

at mercy

of the sounds of silence.

That makes me happy even if this subject seems full off un reconciled feeling.

Jaggedfrost. It was moving to me as it touched on my innermost feelings. That need to connect, to be understood, to be "cherished". It's beautiful. Your words are such a private look into those fears that we all have of not achieving those connections.

I have been watching a lot of foamy. How does that work?

I think you should only be able to comment until you watch Foamy the Squirrel!!!!

I see it brings life to comments here on hubpages. Hubpages should make required that people watch a clip before the text box is revealed to make a comment.

      See you are putting the

      crazed madness placement for us!

(craze n. mental breakdown; Madness; enthusiasm shared by many people.)

      (placement n. the act of

placing or the state of being placed)

      Super Awesome comments

      See what i'm seeing.

lol I appreciate that but it is making me blush sooo KEEP AT IT... I can always put on foundation if I have to but... I haven't for a while... sadness. lol Perhaps I shouldn't comment after watching Foamy the Squirrel, what do you think?

Yes in deed, I am a fan of your "voice", I like the ones who have their own originality its like reinventing something awesome and making it insanely awesome.

I have a tendency to call that place where my words come from my "voice". Once i knew that poetry was what i desired to write and to master in my way, I studied the methods of various authors and then I shut them all out and started to write until i found a form that was mine and couldn't be directly linked to any of the poets i had studied.

Your method in your mind like the saying "there is s method to my madness" your poems are made is some mysterious lab of poetry you have tucked away from the world and to place down chemical filled words to great your poems.

Thank you for telling me when you didn't know were I was going with those words.

Ah in time we both continue to understand learn each other angle on our words we use.

One time a other author of a undiclosed poem, got very offended and deletec my comment and I was compimenting her in such praise

lol Crazed madness in placement? Perhaps you will do me the honor of helping me understand what you mean by that. I appreciate the complement though.

Your reveling to the world, the world looks back to see the words. Hopeful eyes of pure vision will see "your" words. Your crazed madness placement of words to expose the clarity in your message and to feel what you feel.

Jaggedfrost I "see" the simplistic beauty in this piece showing our doubts we have for others getting the message we presented.

Pleasure to read your thoughts in words!
