My Valentine

Heart of Love

I gaze into Your eyes enchanted,

And my words remain unspoken.

Lost in adulation, I enter into the bouquet of flowers;

Find my way into Your Heart’s opulence; Your Soul’s joy.

I have just become Your sweet guest, uninvited,

Entering through the Garland that I presented You.

I now hide myself, adorned by the delightful charm,

Of red roses just encountered,

Their cascading fragrance, an homage to Your charisma.

How I long to be immortal, like the shooting Star,

A beacon in the darkness, to illuminate Thy path.

I am so afraid to lose you;

Yearn to enter the balcony of Your Spirit:

That sweet halo; that magical cluster of rainbows.

I’ll be in Your Mansion then,

One step closer, to the epicentre of my quest.

Let me feel Your sweet curls, a diamond in my Soul,

Liberating the chasm of my Heart’s despair,

Washing away the pain and replenishing it with rhapsody.

Let it be an all-natural remedy, to blend as One,

In Your ecstatic embrace.

Beauty always surrounds us, even if we don't look for us. That makes it being in the right place at the right time.

Another lot of chuckle's. Truth be told poems come to me even in sleep. I take my time so you guys won't have too many. Same with prose, as I can do either. All His Grace, I know. I take no credit.

I read this one at a Slam at Poetry Café. I came third. A sweet old lady came first. She was so sweet, in a wheelchair, and forgot her lines at times. Still, she did three or four lovely Haiku's and one short Valentine poem.

Frankly, she wasn't the best to me, but probably the sweetest and made us all laugh. The Divine always compensates. Gratitude, Bro.

Namaste! You seem to be back with much more time, and we are all richer for this. Hope that the paintings go well, and that Bhagwan Krishna showers and enfolds both you and family in His loving arms. In Love and Light.

Audrey, my gratitude to you for your touching comment. Appreciated.

      Hello Manatita,

What a lovely tribute to love and joy of supreme nature towards the mankind and and specially to your special friend on a special day. The spontaneous flow of the poem with the yearning to reach a level of ultimate ecstasy within us to feel the connection with the love above everything is so much avid. The words chosen are very delicately woven around a spell which you only can create out of unspoken words which very aptly been said in the very beginning. Eyes which can lead you to a depth even much stronger then said words are very profound which you had started the magical poem with. You are out shining yourself in this one , Manatita. I could almost feel it if I may be allowed to express here. Thank you for this share.

      Shared and Votes way up

Many smiles, prayers your way dear friend

Hope you are good today and always

      Hari Om !!!!!

Yes, Ivory Tusk, behind this seemingly crazy world there is lots of joy as the Light-Bringer is doing it all unnoticed. One day we will all share in this happiness.

Thank you for coming. Visited your website and so I say, please keep up your good work. Much peace.

Thank you so much for this! One of my favorite things about this day is that it generates a connection to others that we do tend to take for granted at other times...Your poem is wonderful and one that I will read from time to time, to bring me back into my own loving and adoring center. What a fantastic world we live in...We are always given exactly what we need--in ways and places we often tend not to consider. Such joy! Such peace! Such bliss!

Much love and many blessings to you upon this Valentine's Day evening! :)

Ah, manatita44! The absolute... I re-read your poem with that thought in mind and it delivers a deeper level of feelings. Beautiful. Absolutely divine.

      Thank you, MarleneB.

I tried to make this one earthy, but as practically all my poems, it is addressing the Absolute. A deliberate vagueness, I admit.

So happy that you've done one for your husband from being inspired here. I used to do what you're doing . Then added Microsoft skills with colour and art before framing and giving them to my friends. So I have a long history of this. The difference is that I would normally address what I felt were some of their great and good qualities from knowing them or talking to others.

Now I simply use my inner beauty, heavenly intuition, lots of imagery and Love.

I like the way this poem moves. It is a beautiful Valentine's Day message to your special someone. You inspired me to write a poem for my hubby. I wrote and put it in a frame for him. He seemed to really enjoy it. Happy Valentine's Day to you.

Ahhh!! Still I must be careful with what I wish for others, except your own happiness, of course. Yes, keep it, and read Rumi at the bottom. (Video) Quite touching!

Yes, you have Manatita. And I'll keep this valentine for myself. I don't have a sweetheart.

Well, Shauna, you have my permission to give it to him. He he :)

I have given it to you ... can you smell the flowers? Can you feel the vibrant rhythm of the willow and the beating of two Souls as One? LOL.

By the way, without looking, I've written one for you, right? Let me know.

My gratitude to you this Saturday for a most wonderful sentiment. Much Mehta (loving kindness) .... o Yes, my Sweetheart is the Supreme. Didn't you feel this? (Smile)
