A Start Point

Updated on February 6, 2015

endless comparisons

He felt the terror crashing down,

so much noise, but there was no sound,

he held his breath,

thinking about the endless comparisons

between life and death,

he stared into the mirror,

and saw a ghost,

life was difficult,

but death is what he dreaded most,

it was merciless,

but then again, so was life,

the ghost cries,

and that brought tears to his eyes,

he didn’t want to die,

so the ghost mumbled,

God loved you even more than I,

and he understood what the ghost said,

he failed while living,

and the ghost failed while dead.
