A Stiff Solution

Updated on February 15, 2017

Things We Think About

First thing in the morning

The voice of love

Saying an early morning hi

My vessel still not ready to sail

I begin to bring up the anchor

The weather calm

Overcast in a distance

I perform the most tedious tasks

Realizing some of our food had been left to spoil

Improvising eating a little to get me through

Now I remember earlier instructions I was given

Making sure food is served

Others depend on me

Crumbs eaten because of no alternative

Not shaking my responsibility

I muster up the strength to provide for

The queit few that have a tongue and do not speak

A ringing in my ears two days in a row

A constant beeping sound disrups my silence

Business at hand

A party in my soul

The latest forecast

No rain here

Just wet cold snow

A half a foot or more

Just last week double that portion

A big batch that will last for awhile

Alternative measures taken

To avoid any trouble and difficult problems we must face

The news a good reliable source

Gently separating me like an apple cut into pieces

I reach out to feel silky smooth across my fingertips

Quickly reminded of independence and stubborness

Breathing short and shallow breaths

I pause to think

As we all must think to do our best

Trying to loosen up

Gaining back control

Great rich resources remain untapped

It is not my job

It is my obligation

To make great use of a God's greatest gifts

We all have but only a handful find it's ultimate potential

So many looking to somewhere else

When the real treasure

Is and always will be

Found here secretly

Bold and magnificient

Reminded by the sun

No matter what

Always finding a way

To shine on everyone and everything

Gypsy Rose Lee Finding places that motivate us and stir our loving spirit is so much better than finding things that encourage us to move forward. The things will fade and we will keep needing other things for inspiration. Where the places keep bringing back that old feeling. I think because places are beautiful parts of nature interacting with our soul. Where objects are man made and only give us a temporary fix. Thank you for reading and sharing.

As long as there is love in our world the soul is peaceful. I have also discovered that my best place to get peace as well as inspiration and food for the soul is at my PC.

      Obviously, we are moved by Love - invisible spiritual force;

we are product of our thinking - manifested as we live and what we do comes as light shines in darkness, " to make great use of God's greatest gifts"...
