A Stranger's call/a poem

Updated on October 26, 2012
when I wrote this short poem over twenty years ago,it sent a shiver down my spine, I don't know what it means, or where it came from, but it formed in my mind and it's the only one I can remember word for word, I hope you enjoy it.

A Stranger's Call

Somewhere in the darkness a hand touches my face, fear fills my heart, I hear a window break. A shadow rushes past me into a blackened hall, and somewhere in the distance, I hear a stranger call.

I wrote this poem over twenty years ago, and yes it is chilling, I have no idea where it came from,it would be a great line for a horror movie(lol) thanks for your input, im glad you enjoyed it.

This is perhaps the most frightening of all wake up calls from a sleep. Let's hope this was from deep inside your imagination and nothing else. It is indeed spine tingling. Thanks for sharing this, tbauserman.
