A Thank You Is More Than Enough

Updated on May 13, 2011

Feeling Fine

I think Thank You should be the first word in the dictionary for everyone to see

It pleases even strangers on short notice

It sounds nice and has power

The thank in thank you sounds strong and confidient

The you in thank you sounds reassuring and comforting

The combination is like a one two punch

It is definitely a knock out

It is simple and sweet

It can be used for all occasions

It is never out of place or unwanted

Children who use it show great respect

It should be the most used word in the dictionary

It is proper and casual

It leaves a message long after all other words are said

The potential is unlimited

The more it is said the more things get done

It motivates people and gives them instant satisfaction

Sincerety is the key

If it is said with dishonesty and doubt

Those who hear it will know right off the bat

They will give you that look

Then sometimes you will have to explain yourself

So to stop any miscommunication and unneccessary melt down

Use it often but with honesty and integrety

Friends use it more often than strangers

Lovers use it more often than friends

I love to use it at the begining of a sentence

Thank you the end

must agree with you. Only recently felt disappointed at the number of people who have forgotten those words.

      Take care

Eiddwen Thank you for your wonderful thoughts and insights as always.I often wondered why some people grow up to be bad people when their parents were nice and kind.I think people make up their minds to be who they want to be all on their own.So rude children can be influenced from rude parents but it up to them to choose to be rude or not to be rude as adults. At a young age I blame the parents. When they are older I blame them.I love to find the wonderful polite children and give them endless praise.I am very thankful. I was brought up with please and thank you's.Have a good day.

A great hub DREAM ON, and so true.

A simple 'thank you' can mean so much and it doesn't cost anything does it?

      A uniqely brilliant hub;

A few people will tend to say that younsters are rude these days, they have no concept of good manners and that they should treat their elders with respect !!! However I do not agree with this as in my eyes respect needs to be earned and I know many youngsters who are really polite and on numerous occassions I have witnessed a few elderly people being so rude and disrespectful !!

So I think that many people could benefit from this one, and I thoroughly enjoyed this hub as it left much food for thought.

As always thank you for another great hub my dear friend.

I push all the buttons for this one and vote up all the way.

      Take care DREAM ON,
