A Tribute To Agnes Tuleya: A Legendary Lady"
Mrs.Agnes Tuleya passed November 8, 2011, she suffered with liver and stomach cancer. She lived to be ninety years old, she was a mother of two daughter and step mother to two daughters. She out lived two husbands. Mrs. Agnes use to be the landlord at Trails End trailer park. She took very good care of her tenants and also the daily mail. I never met anyone Mrs.Agnes age that had so much vitality and vigor. She moved around better than someone my age. She did beautiful afghans and awesome needlepoint. She kept herself busy but if she could do anything to help you she was there. Mrs.Agnes had a genuine heart of gold. She loved and care a lot about people, but when they had her memorial service,I was sadden and shocked that only a few of us showed up to pay our respects.
I still can't believe how it seemed no one cared enough to show up at her memorial for the last time to send her off. Her two daughters came two more of her friends, me and two other friends. Her two other daughter had come two weeks earlier and wasn't able to come back because of work obligations. There were only about nine people there including the mail man. I'm so glad Mrs.Agnes is longer in pain and I'm also glad she couldn't see how many people came to her memorial because I think she would have been sad of the outcome. Normally when someone passes, you have enough considerate friends and associates who will bring food and drink so the bereaved family didn't have to worry about cooking. Well, again I was sadden that only me and another neighbor brought enough food, so it didn't matter that no one else thought enough to give a helping hand.
I realized if me and the other neighbor hadn't brought food they wouldn't have had anything at all to eat. How tacky is that? as kind a nd sweet as Mrs. Agnes was, there should have been only standing room at her memorial service and there should have been more than enough of all kinds of food and drink on the table. I am very disappointed because it didn't happen. I'm also sure that Mrs. Agnes isn't worried about anything because she knew a God that loved her and made everything alright. This is a tribute to a beautiful and sweet little old lady that truly had a genuine heart of gold. Rest well Mrs.Agnes.
