Mama Rock

She has always been Mama Rock...Solid and Strong no matter what was wrong...

Her strength throughout difficult times surface every time something went wrong.

Many times when I knew she was being overwhelmed, she stood firm in her convictions that things would change and she would somehow get over her pain.

Mama Rock you raised a family of ten all by yourself...

Mama Rock underneath all those silent tears that you kept wiping away from your serene face was a testimony of your strength.

Mama Rock I learned the words durability from you, I picked up the skills of survival from you, I learned how to look adversity in the face and walk with grace because of you...

Mama Rock every moment of your life had been a battle and you survived with your pride and dignity intact.

Mama Rock I wanted to be the first and not the last of your children to honor you for being a solid foundation.

Mama Rock you gave us love non-stop and I am proud to be a part of someone like you.

You are still my favorite girl even though your flesh left this world...

Mama Rock; Solid and Strong you are missed...

Dedicated to Ann Canty My Mama Rock.

Thank you for your comments... She like all the other Mama Rock's should be held in the highest esteem for they truly were Queen's.
