A Women's Words

Updated on April 2, 2013

Her mind was too sharp,
vicious and unforgiving.
Her words stinging him
like a scorpion's tail.
He didn't stand a chance.
Countered on every side.
Unable to win
a single word.
Time will repay.
Retribution holds the tab.
Eyes of the invisible
witnessed it all.
Nothing is lost
the debt remains.
Perhaps fate
will repay in full.
