A year of thoughts

writ across the page

unhampered by the need

to understand (the

various parts of speech)--

knowing only the scree

of pencil across page

as mind frees itself

from the infernal bondage

of criticism long ingrained.

Pencil, knowing the mind

of this poet,

fails to halt the unconscious flow

needing only to continue

until it meets

period.

Your pencil has been sharp ever since you introduced it here to us at the Hubs. Your blend of verse flows across your page like a gentle breeze whispering in the pines. I admire your talent, your gift, your mind. Lovely, simply lovely.

Audrey, you're the only poet on here whose words I read and wish they had come from my pencil. Wonderful economy of words.

Audrey you have a natural talent and your poetry flows like a smooth running mill stream. What a wonderful gift.

I will try to get back here more often. A lot of my poems are songs in my mind when I write them. Your ability to sing shows in the way you construct your poems. Robert
